Ballochet Coming soon to Steam

Five balls. One cannon. A city of rooftop contraptions.

A precision ricochet puzzle game. Bank, bounce and spring your way to the bell in 60 hand-built scenes.

A sunset over city rooftops. A cannon fires Ace, a smiling green ball, in a dotted arc; it banks off a hanging steel girder toward a glowing bell while the rest of the cast waits beside the cannon and balloons drift overhead.

Watch the trailer

The trailer plays from YouTube when you press play. Open it on YouTube.

Every scene has a bell to ring. Almost none have a straight shot.

Aim the cannon, then bank off beams and chimneys, bounce off springy rubber, ride springs that fire along their arrows, smash cracked panels, hit switches to open gates, and time your shot through sliding, rising and swinging beams to find the one route that works.

Every scene is fair and repeatable. The same angle always plays out the same way, so every miss teaches you something. Aim to a hundredth of a degree, study the trail of your last shot, and adjust.

  • A ball arcing toward an aiming crosshair

    Aim to the hundredth

Point roughly, then fine-tune a hundredth of a degree at a time.

  • A spring pad launching a ball along its arrow

    Springs

A spring fires the ball along its big arrow, every time, at the same speed.

  • A ball bouncing off a pink rubber bumper

    Rubber

Pink rubber returns the ball at full speed. Wood, steel and brick keep a little less.

  • A beam sliding along its rail

    Moving beams

Sliding, rising and swinging beams start from the same spot every launch.

  • A ball breaking through a cracked panel

    Cracked panels

They break on contact, and the ball keeps going a little slower.

  • A numbered switch linked by cable to its gate

    Switches and gates

Hit a switch to open the gate at the end of its matching cable.

  • A ball flying through a balloon and popping it for 50 points

    Balloons

Pop drifting balloons on a winning shot for 50 points each.

  • A ball collecting golden bolts on its way to the bell

    Golden bolts

Collect bolts on the shot that rings the bell for extra stars. 180 to earn.

One run. Five balls a scene.

Play a run through the campaign and watch your total climb. Each scene starts with Ace loaded. Miss with all five balls in one scene and the run is over: your score goes on the high-score list, and the next run starts from where you fell.

Stuck? A hint highlights a useful surface, and a second hint plays a ghost demonstration. You still have to make the shot yourself.

  • 60 hand-built scenes
  • 180 stars to earn
  • 8 skies from dawn to midnight
  • Top 10 high-score list
